Super quick service and food for a Sunday lunch with dog and toddler in tow - couldn’t have been more accommodating with both. Delicious roasts all round and great choice of proper meals for children including a not-so-mini version of the roast (not just the usual two suspects). Lovely team working and lovely other customers!

We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

I checked google reviews to check where to go and decided to enter the Ship Inn! Right decision! When in the UK i need to eat fish and chips which were delicious! The staff is great, they let me try a few local beers before i decided which one i will have! The restaurant is very cosy! I can definitely reccommend the restaurant.

We were three families staying in Weymouth for the weekend. We had booked a table for the nine of us at this pub for lunch. The pub was very busy but we were shown to our table straight away. We ordered our food and drinks. The food came out about 30 minutes later. Loads of dishes, all together, freshly cooked and piping hot. Every dish was superb. No complaints from any of us, just praise. By this time the pub was heaving and the staff were under a lot of pressure, but they were all so helpful and cheerful. (Even though I think they were understaffed. Not their fault) I highly recommend this pub to everyone. Thank you to all the staff and the chefs for looking after us so well. And no, I don’t have any links to the pub, just praise where praise is due.

Absolutely loved the decor of the place, and the friendly service. Food? Absolutely incredible! The calamari was absolutely to die for. It’s an overall great place — true value for money!

We popped in here for a meal before John Bishop at Weymouth Pavillion. We had booked in advance for 5 people. This pub is lovely. Great ambience and lovely welcome as we opened the door and stepped inside. We ordered drinks and found our table. The whole time we were there approx 1.5 hours was excellent. There appeared only to be 2 persons doing everything, serving food and drinks, taking orders, clearing tables, but you would never have known this. Food was excellent, and served in food time. Our server was Dan I found out bit later. I'm sorry I didn't get the young lady's name that worked alongside him but both were outstanding. If they were my staff I would be beyond proud and I told them so too. What a great experience we will definitely be back and soon!! Thank you

We held our wedding reception here in 2024. Today we celebrate our first anniversary. Once again Nadine Sharon and the team went above and beyond to make us feel special. We both had Sunday roast and desserts. The roast was definitely one of our favourites and we've had a few in other local venues . Thank you so much . We will be back again with the family for future celebrations. Mike and Di Irvine
